Back 2 School Bash

July was a busy month gearing up for our second annual Back 2 School Bash. This year we partnered with Lifepointe Church who graciously collected wished for shoes and socks for all of the children in York County who signed up for our program. We then had a number of volunteers match wished for shoes with the correct child, pack backpacks and make sure everything was all set for the big day: the Back 2 School Bash.

On Saturday morning, our families were welcomed at Elevation Church, Riverwalk with a party to celebrate the end of summer and the start of a new school year. Elevation Church thought of every detail including a full breakfast buffet including waffles with all of the toppings, two bounce houses, a foam Firetruck and a slushie/coffee truck. It was all smiles as children left the party with full bellies, great memories and ready to wear their new shoes and backpacks full of supplies on the first day of school.

Once again, we could not have made this event possible without our amazing team of volunteers as well as the generosity of Lifepointe Church and Elevation Church, Riverwalk.
