What a magical evening of fun for a cause at the Magic for Miracles fundraiser benefitting Defend the Fatherless. The night was filled with talent from magicians Bryan Saint and Jack Kelly. The show which was put on by a variety of community groups, left the audience in complete amazement!

We were feeling all the love in February.  From lots of laughs over coffee to a special Valentine's bible study and of course a room full of smiles at Respite Night, our hearts are saying goodbye to February very full.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, Defend the Fatherless hosted our 2nd annual Respite Night. Children enjoyed an evening of Chick-fil-A eating, Lego building, movie watching fun while parents had a much needed night off.

Each year Defend the Fatherless with the help of our generous community collects gift cards for children in York County who find themselves in foster care during the holiday season. This year were were able to make a huge impact as we helped provide Christmas gifts to 182 children.

July was a busy month as we geared up for our Back 2 School Bash. Shoe wishes were collected from children in York County who are in Foster Care. Shoes, socks, backpacks and school supplies were collected and finally, everyone came together for a great big celebration. It was a true community effort and for that we are greatful.
