The family structure of the foster, adoptive, and kinship families is unique and it is important for the families served by Defend The Fatherless to feel a sense of community and belonging.
We host monthly community building events to help families and children from difficult backgrounds to bond as a family unit, to create new memories with unique experiences, build friendships with other children and families walking the same road, and give parents some much needed respite from time to time!
We host Coffee Meet Ups, Day at the Children’s Theatre, Day at the Farm, Day at the Museum, Bible Study, etc. - they change from month to month, so be sure to check out our calendar below for what’s happening next!
