First Annual Family Camp

Family Camp 2022

On Saturday, April 22 we hosted our First Annual Family Camp at the YMCA Camp Cherokee Camp. It was our goal to bring local foster and adoptive families together for a day to connect as a family unit as well as to connect with other like minded families. What a huge success it was!

Families had the opportunity to participate in activities that included a Rock Wall/Zip line, arts and crafts, archery, a variety of sports and waterfront activities. They enjoyed fellowship over lunch and dinner and entertainment by our Camp Sponsor, Mr. Jim from the Podcast, Short Stories with Mr. Jim

We are thankful for the staff, board members, volunteers, Mr. Jim, and the YMCA Camp Cherokee for the success of the day. Thank you to the families who attended camp who choose daily to say, “Yes” to the fatherless.
